Dr. Soleil is a Romanian brand built on experience, research, and the desire to create accessible and effective cosmetic products for the entire family. Our story began in 1991, at a time when the cosmetics industry in Romania was still in its early stages and access to specialized products was limited. Dr. Soleil was founded through the initiative of a Romanian family of doctors and a group of French pharmacists, united by the same vision: developing cosmetic products based on effective active ingredients, formulated responsibly and with care for skin health.

From the very beginning, Dr. Soleil was a pioneer. We became the first private Romanian cosmetics manufacturer, as well as the first Romanian manufacturer of sun protection products, at a time when these categories were almost non-existent on the local market. The first products were developed in a space of approximately 50 m², with a small portfolio built around a simple idea: creating useful, innovative products adapted to people’s real needs.
